Network process
Depending on equipment and capacity, the installer may notify the distribution network operator after installation or need agreement before work. Ask which process applies and who owns it.

Export route
The Smart Export Guarantee covers eligible small-scale generation, but suppliers set tariff rates and conditions. Metering and application evidence may be required.

Handover
Keep commissioning, electrical, MCS where applicable, DNO, meter, equipment and warranty documents because they can support export setup and later ownership.
