Evidence before certainty
Welsh planning and funding rules are easy to confuse with general UK advice. Our guides say clearly what applies only in Wales, such as permitted development limits and the Nest scheme. They also point back to the Welsh Government's own pages, because those pages carry the current figures.
Source order
We trust sources in a set order. When two sources disagree, the one higher on this list wins. Commercial material never stands alone behind a planning, funding or technical claim.

AI-assisted production
Automated tools may help us sort research, draft outlines and check figures against current sources. Still, a tool's output never goes live on its own say-so. Each claim must match its cited source, we avoid duplicate pages, and the page title and summary must describe what you see.
Review and corrections
Each guide shows a review date. We only change that date after a real review or a material edit. At each review, we check the Welsh rules against Welsh Government pages again.
We make corrections in place, so the page you read stays current. If you spot a problem, report it through the complaints and corrections page. Errors that affect accuracy come first.
Writing for readers
We write in plain English, with short sentences and common words. Where a technical term matters, such as kWp or G99, we explain it the first time it appears. Similarly, we give cost and savings figures as ranges with a source and a date, never as a promise.
Commercial separation
